Day 2

After a comfortable night spent in the super big bedroom and ever so soft bed in Regal Kowloon, we finally woke up at 10 + and set off for our second day with a MAP that is. It was a really long walk to the MTR station and to think that we were actually walking around in circles the day before.

Anyway, we had our brunch at Cafe De Coral which is something like the Fairwood which we had here in Singapore many years ago. So u order at a counter and collect your food at another counter. And they have different meals at different times of the day! tt includes tea time! Well, we had spaghetti cos the rest looks too filling and we don't usually eat alot for breakfast or at least for me. The set is completed with the abit bitter and super thick milk tea! (a must try for those visiting HK) The aunites working there were super nice, unlike the grouchy aunties working here. And they tried to chat with u abit like why we ate so little and couldnt finish such a small meal. Really admire them cos they treat their work so seriously and they are so willing to work hard, unlike some of us who are so taking things for granted.

Me at Cafe De Coral for my breakfast!
Yummy Spaghetti with Milk Tea

We headed for Esprit before Habour City since we didnt get to shop after having the horrendous meal. Ransacked the 2 story high factory outlet and bought about $200 worth of tees, shirts and skirt for ourselves as well as others. Seriously they should consider changing the material of their plastic bags cos they are so painful and cut your hand especially when you bought a lot of things and they are very heavy! My hand was almost disfigured from the carrying of the leavy load we bought. We stopped by DFS along the way and bought my Ray Ban shades like finally! Although i had wanted a white frame but since its kinda cheap so why not right, and i look nice in it! ha. My sis bought a Polo Ralph shirt cos the girl was too nice and she found it hard to reject her. But she likes the shirt too la so not that bad. Unlike in Singapore where only LV or those high end boutiques have people opening the doors for you, HK has it even at DFS and other major shopping malls! Not that i dun have hands to oepn them myself but.....its quite sweet right. U feel special! heh

New LV store in progress outside DFS

So the shopping continued at Harbour City. We continued to splurge like no other peoples' buisness for the following few hours but absolutely have no recollection of what we bought. I remembered walking into silvercord shopping centre and bought my X-large Tee!! wanted the burger one at first since i saw it on MILK & TOUCH but it was out of stock. Thinking that it would be probably out of stock forever, i just bought the Big marshmellow man in ghost buster. it comes in a super big box and i had to carry this super big paper bag all around. Just remembered what my sister bought! she bought a porter bag! the girl was super nice and i must really give credit to the salespeople in HK. once u expressed your dislike for certain things, they do not just walk away. in fact they will try to introduce other things to u. Even if i had no intention of buying something, the service would probably just burn my wallet, simply because they are too sweet to be turned away! Took a break from all the shopping at Fusion, Singapore Bugis has one too if i am not wrong and we chose the cushion seats!! Super comfy!!!

Poor hand

For dinner, we went Tang Dynasty. Do not be deceived by this another shop which sells desserts which is located at the previous Tang location. i almost walked in, luckily i decided to take a look by walking further down. We were not really hungry and since we decided to take maggie mee, we ordered rice noodles with prawns, rice noodles with you tiao and desserts! i had my tofu pudding with almond cream and my sis had walnut paste. The walnut paste is super thick and i think it tasted nicer than mine although i think both were nice. Cos tofu pudding is abit bland and did not really go wel with the almond cream. But the walnut was really goood, just that it was too sweet.

After dinner, we went 7 - eleven and shopped for our cup noodles and the rose green tea which was very nice!! And we didnt ask for forks for the cup noodles since we (my sis i mean) thought that there would be one inside the cup. Luckily we had our hotel tea spoon...

Night scenery in HK is really really nice!
